As part of BBC Radio 1 and 1Xtra’s Share Take Care campaign for Safer Internet Day, we were asked to create a fun game that raised the issue of controlling what an online search would reveal about you. Just because you’ve decided not to keep quiet about what went on at a recent party, doesn’t mean your friends haven’t tagged you in a dodgy photo from the same night out!
The game is a quickfire whack-a-mole style challenge played against the clock. Players must either Like or Un-Tag themselves from a series of positive or potentially embarrassing pictures and status updates before time runs out.
Players can really personalise the game by logging in with their Facebook accounts and using their profile picture (or easily making a new one via webcam) so that it’s your own face being inserted into the game. This integration also means that it’s your real Facebook friends talking about you in the game as well!
So why not put yourself in the picture, see what your friends are (sort of) saying about you and put your social media savvy to the test!
